Privacy cannot be reduced to a no-log badge. Account, payment, support, and network data are separate categories with different purposes and retention periods.

Separate the data categories

An account record, payment operation, support ticket, and network event are not the same thing. A useful policy states the purpose, retention, and recipient for each category. Saying that browsing history is not stored does not answer questions about connection time, source IP, traffic volume, or diagnostic events.

What a user can test

Compare the external IP, inspect the DNS resolver, and confirm that the intended applications use the tunnel. Repeat after a client restart and network change. These checks describe the current device configuration; they do not prove an internal retention policy, which requires documentation, technical controls, and an independent review when available.

Diagnostics without credential exposure

Support normally needs the platform, client version, network type, error time, and a redacted log excerpt. Remove the UUID, private key, QR code, subscription URL, and payment data. If a credential was already posted, replace it rather than assuming that deleting the message makes it safe again.

Do not merge distinct privacy questions

A no-log VPN claim needs a list of data categories, not a universal badge. A DNS leak describes where name-resolution requests travel, but does not prove a retention policy. VPN diagnostics describe the current device and network; internal provider controls require documentation and independent review where available.
