VLESS VPN setup for Android, iPhone, and Windows

Choose the device first and the client second. The common flow is to install from an official source, import the complete profile, and verify routing, but buttons and platform limits differ.

Choose a platform and a trusted client

Android users often choose v2rayNG or Hiddify; iPhone users need a compatible client available in their App Store region; Windows users may use Hiddify, v2rayN, or another compatible application. Install from the official repository or store. A network client can see device traffic, so an unknown build received in a chat is not an acceptable source.

Three import methods

Open an import link, paste a profile from the clipboard, or scan a QR code. A link is convenient on the same device, while QR works well when the subscription page is displayed elsewhere. Check the profile name and issue date after import. Remove stale duplicates so the client does not reconnect with an expired key.

Basic troubleshooting

If the client reports a connection but applications remain offline, inspect system or TUN routing, DNS, and client permissions. If the tunnel itself fails, update the app, synchronize device time, and compare another network. Redact addresses, UUIDs, keys, and subscription links before sharing a log.

Select a platform guide

The VLESS Android guide covers v2rayNG and compatible clients, VLESS iPhone covers available iOS apps and QR import, and VLESS Windows covers system mode, startup behavior, and route checks. Button names change between releases, so compare the guide with the current official client interface.
